Artist manager Brian Horner was traveling with a couple of his clients, the otherworldly duo of electric violinist Tracy Silverman and 5x Grammy-winning percussionist Roy “Futureman” Wooten. Someone asked him how he would describe the type of artists on his roster and his off-the-cuff response was that they were “sort of craft music artists.” Realizing that this was an under-appreciated aesthetic in the world of music – yet fully appreciated in the worlds of beer, spirits, and burgers – he decided to build an music streaming app that would shine a spotlight on this music in the same way that microbreweries bring attention to their brews. The Craft Brewed Music® Discovery App is essentially a sampler “flight” of songs – both vocal and instrumental – that represent the craft beers of music.
