This bracelet is first crafted with acoustic guitars that then are sawed from 20 gauge sterling silver. The Artist uses a jewelry saw and solders to a solid 18 gauge handmade sterling silver base along with a star.
Also, finished brushed patina accented shadows, chased grooved pattern along the edges, guitar stings, music notes.
Small stars aligning the guitars add fine rich details to keep the bracelet in tune. While blending in harmony with the vibrant silver glow of brushed sterling silver.
Firstly, Starting with a 6.5 inch long by 1 inch wide rectangular base is sawed from an 18 gauge sterling silver sheet.
These guitars and star are first joined to the base rectangle using an acetylene torch and sterling silver solder. Secondly, the flat band with the soldered guitars, star, and stamped music themes is carefully hammered with a nylon mallet into a perfect bracelet over a wooden mandrel.
Extra care is given so as not to mar or break the bonds.
Finally, and after removing the fire scale, rounding the end tabs, and filing the edges, a patina is applied to the sterling silver and brushed to create subtle grey tones in the back ground, and darken the fine details.
Shown here in a 6.5 inch width for a medium sized wrist. A larger size can be done at an additional cost.
In addition, Since this is a handmade bracelet made from fresh sterling silver just for you, it is also possible to customize the individual elements of the bracelet such as metal options. Substituting your own designs is also available, or rearranging the components to suite individual tastes.
